Buckinghamshire College Group proudly celebrated the achievements of its students at the annual Student Awards Ceremony, held at the Crowne Plaza on 25 June 2026.
The special evening brought together students, staff, employers, sponsors and guests to recognise outstanding dedication, resilience and success across a wide range of curriculum areas and enrichment activities.
The awards honoured students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their studies, made significant progress throughout their educational journey and contributed positively to College life. Winners were recognised for their academic achievements, personal development and determination to succeed.
A total of 22 awards were presented throughout the evening, celebrating excellence across the College. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Overall Student of the Year Award, which was awarded to Matthew Lees in recognition of his remarkable achievements and contribution to the College community.
The event also celebrated the invaluable support of Buckinghamshire College Group's employer partners, whose collaboration helps provide students with real-world opportunities and pathways into successful careers.
Guests were treated to a fantastic interval performance by Marnie Carroll, a Level 3 Music Performance student, whose talent and professionalism made her performance one of the highlights of the evening.
The ceremony was expertly hosted by Wes Venn, who guided guests through the evening's celebrations and helped make the event a memorable occasion for all in attendance.
