- Why did you choose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group?
I found the smaller course size more appealing because it supported my learning and allowed me to take better advantage of the tutoring.
- Why did you choose this course and what were your ambitions at the time?
From a young age, I always wanted to be part of the television or radio industry. What the course outlined incorporated all elements of television production and gave me a chance to explore all vocations and roles within all elements of the production cycle, from initial idea conception, pre-production, production itself all the way up to post-production where I found my most interest to progress a direction towards a career path.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College?
Freedom. The ability to come up with our own ideas and no idea was deemed to be unachievable. Even if the concept wasn't the best, we were guided on how to make it work in the time frame we were given.
- How did your time at the college help prepare you for where you are today?
Allowing me to understand that being creative, taking initiative and doing what feels right for you and for an audience is what's most important. Don't stifle your creative flare and run with your ideas.
