- Why did you choose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group?
I chose Buckinghamshire College Group because of their strong reputation for creative courses.
- Why did you choose this course and what were your ambitions at the time?
I studied Art & Design as it aligned with my ambition to pursue a career in architecture. I saw it as a strong foundation to develop my understanding of design principles.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College?
I really enjoyed the support and guidance from my tutors who were passionate and dedicated to helping me succeed. Beyond my studies, I valued the opportunity to take on leadership roles such as student representitive, governor and president. These experiences helped me build confidence, communication skills and a sense of responsibility, making my time at College both enjoyable and rewarding.
- What experiences and skills from your course have been most valuable in your journey so far?
The skills I developed have been incredibly valuable in my journey, particularly as I progressed to study Product design at university of which I graduated with a first class degree. The course helped me build a strong foundation in creativity and design thinking, all which have continued to support me in both my academic and professional development.
- How did your time at the college help prepare you for where you are today?
It built my confidence, knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with others, and prepared me both for university and my current role.
