Scott McGreal (BTEC Media)
Studying
Media student Scott McGreal was awarded the prestigious title of 2011 BTEC Student of the Year in Media in recognition of his tremendous achievements, work ethic, social skills and overall ability during the two year course.
“I wanted to study at the College because of the facilities offered and the excellent reputation of tutors. You do not get this kind of equipment in any other college and once I saw the TV studio I was sold on the course.
Over the past two years I feel as if I have grown a great deal as an individual and developed a strong technical and practical understanding of the TV industry. I have felt engaged in learning, have been given lots of responsibility and was always been treated as an adult. One of the biggest things I’ve learnt is how to apply myself in a variety of situations as a result of developing my people skills and being given the role of student ambassador for the College.
I am going to Bournemouth University in September to study TV Production at Degree level and then hope to progress to an MA at the National Film & Television School.”
