Amersham & Wycombe College will be working with partner organisations to deliver a number of projects and activities which will raise awareness of the Olympics with our students and staff and embrace the Olympic values.

Project 1 –
a. the Olympic induction and ongoing exercises on the College’s virtual learning environment, Moodle – to include the original idea about the Olympic lecture and end with a quiz
b. Embedding Olympic theme into tutorials
Project 2 –
a. End of Year shows 2011 and 2012 to have Olympic themes
b. Cultural Olympiad Opportunities
Project 3 -
a. Commercial Opportunities with Interview techniques training
Project 4 –
a. Musical Theatre and the College Choir – opportunities for them to perform at events leading up to 2012
Project 5 –
a. Reactivate Bucks Workplace Challenge. This is aimed at helping our employees to get more active, and see the benefits to their health, well-being and productivity and to our business and to your local community.
Project 6 –
a. Volunteering opportunities (Support local councils)
b. Young ambassadors are selected young people (aged 14-19) who are already sport leaders / volunteers and who wish to help even more in the promotion of sport, healthy lifestyles and community involvement.
