Many of the College’s courses are funded by the government through the Skills Funding Agency.

Amersham & Wycombe College is directly funded by HEFCE and in the year 2012/13 its allocation is for 117 new full-time undergraduates.

The National Skills Academy – Creative & Cultural
In 2009 Amersham & Wycombe College became one of just twenty Colleges nationally to be named as a Founder College for Creative and Cultural Skills by the National Skills Academy.
The National Skills Academy – Environmental Technologies
In 2011 Amersham & Wycombe College became an accredited training provide by the National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies.

European Social Fund
The European Social Fund (ESF) was set up to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and so help raise standards of living.
Amersham & Wycombe College is a member institution of UCAS and therefore all of its Higher Education provision is listed on the UCAS website so that students can benefit from this service.
Job Centre Plus
Jobcentre Plus supports people of working age from welfare into work and helps employers to fill their vacancies. It is part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and plays a major role in supporting the Department’s aim to promote opportunity and independence for all through modern, customer-focused services.
The Pinewood Studios Group
Amersham & Wycombe College offers training in various forms to Pinewood employees and maintains close links to inform the College’s creative industries training offering.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
The College offers CIM qualifications which are amongst the Marketing profession’s most recognised professional development qualifications.
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff. The College offers several AAT qualifications and an AAT accountancy apprenticeship.
The college offers training in the AVID Pro Tools system – the world’s most advanced music and audio creation system.
Bucks New University
The College offers Foundation and BA Honours degrees accredited by Bucks New University.
City & Guilds
The City & Guilds Group is the UK’s leading vocational awarding organisation and the College offers several of its qualifications.
BPEC is the leading provider of training and certification for the Building Services Engineering sector, which covers the gas, oil, plumbing, electrotechnical, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration industries. The College offers several BPEC courses.
The IAB is the leading UK and international professional body for those providing bookkeeping and related accounting services to small businesses. The College offers several IAB courses.
The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy
The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy is the UK’s first non-profit educational institution dedicated to teaching enterprise and entrepreneurship. PJEA operates from the Amersham campus, offering BTECs in entrepreneurship.
CAA is the powerful alliance between Cskills Awards (CITB ConstructionSkills’ awarding organisation) and City & Guilds providing a wide range of construction related competence qualifications (NVQs) and training qualifications.
The matrix Standard is the unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career.

Amersham & Wycombe College is a member of 4cs. The goal of the 4Cs voluntary organisation is to inspire businesses to work in partnership with voluntary and public sector organisations for the benefit of people who work, live and learn in South Buckinghamshire.
Working with many other Colleges across the South East under the banner of “Training Works” we are able to assist workers who have not yet achieved basic qualifications to begin qualifications allied to their job role.
Creative Skillset works with the creative industries workforce, including the large freelance community, to be able to access and invest in high quality, affordable training and development and to ensure that learning and training is of the highest quality and aligned to industry needs.

The BFI combines cultural, creative and industrial roles, bringing together the BFI National Archive and BFI Reuben Library, film distribution, exhibition and education at BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX, publishing and festivals.
Active IQ is one of the UK’s leading Awarding Organisations for the Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Sector, recognised and regulated by Ofqual, with qualifications designed to support clearly defined career pathways. All the qualifications are appropriate to occupations within the Active Leisure and Learning Sector.
Leap is the brand name of the Bucks & MK Sport and Activity Partnership, a not for profit organisation, and one of 49 County Sports Partnerships nation-wide, that form a key element of the delivery system for sport across England.
