We have established an excellent reputation for encouraging the development of Britain’s future musicians, studio producers and engineers. Music students have access to two new recording studios, analogue and digital, as well as two suites of G5 Apple Macintosh and PC workstations operating 'Logic Audio', 'Pro Tools' and ‘Sibelius’ software amongst others.
A new record label ‘Sham Records’ was launched in June 2006, the first CD being distributed through local music stores. Foundation Degree students will be expected to make a contribution to this label and use it as a platform for their own career development.
The Amersham and the Chesham campuses are now established as local performance venues.
