The Travel and Tourism industry has changed dramatically over the last few years, generating billions of pounds worldwide.

In order to work in the increasing range of opportunities available in the industry, you will need good communication and marketing skills as well as a clear focus on delivering great products and experiences.  Customers are becomingly  increasingly sophisticated, so you need to work towards exceeding the service that they expect.

There are a number of different areas of work within the sector, including customer service and marketing and sales roles in tourist boards, travel agencies, airlines and holiday companies. You could also choose to move into product development or IT and administration for the leisure industry.
