Amersham & Wycombe College Buckinghamshire

Apply online

If you would like to apply to come to our College, please follow these simple steps.

STEP 1: Chose a study programme. You can get advice from either your careers advisor (if you are still at school), directly from us via our live chat facility or by attending one of our Open Evenings. Open Evenings give you the opportunity to meet tutors and current students and discover more about the excellent facilities available at all our campus sites.

STEP 2: Complete an Application Form. You can do this online by searching for the study programme and clicking the APPLY button. Alternatively you can download an Application Form below.

STEP 3: For all of our full-time study programmes and some of our part-time courses, you will then be invited to attend an informal interview. Some study programmes such as Performing Arts and Music will also require an audition. After your interview you will given a formal offer, usually a conditional offer, based on your GCSE results.
For some study programmes, you may also receive an invitation to attend an Experience Day in June where you can gain some practical experience in your chosen subject(s) and get to know the College a bit better.

STEP 4: Enrol at the College in late August/early September. The enrolment dates vary from campus to campus and you will be told your enrolment date well in advance. It’s also worth noting that if you are offered a conditional place (based upon gaining certain grades) and you then find your actual grades are lower than expected, or possibly higher, you should contact the College immediately to discuss your options. In some circumstances it may still be possible for you to enrol onto your chosen study programme, or it may be that an alternative would be more beneficial for you.

STEP 5: Start College and enjoy learning new and exciting subjects as well as meeting and making new friends in readiness for employment or higher level study here at the College or at University.

If you need to talk to someone about your application, please call the Student Administration Team anytime on 0800 614 016. You can also contact us via live chat (pop-up in top right corner).

Remember – decisions are not always final and you will be given the opportunity to change your study programme anytime up to 3 weeks. You can also apply for two or more study programmes if you are unsure at this time which one you would like to study.

If you would prefer to fill a form out by hand, you can do so by downloading one of the PDFs below.
